Why Going Into A Brick & Mortar Store Can Save You Money

BlogHer Mobile Image 2Do you Best Buy?  Remember when it was a whole occasion, your weekend shopping destination?  A lot has changed with the internet.

It used to be that going online would get you the best deal and save you time.

But with the amount of information online, the many store offerings and competing sites, going in store can actually save you time, help you save money, and get you special bonuses too!

This year BlogHer was hosted in Los Angeles, so you know I jumped at finally being able to attend the biggest blogging conference in the country.

The reason I love to attend these shows is to network with friends (new and old) and brands and meet with incredible brands like Best Buy.

I love to see their latest technology and gadgets.  Best Buy first introduced me to many new and cutting edge technologies like The Nest, Lyve and of course, the latest from Samsung.

One of my best influencer friends is a Samsung-loyalist, and the difference in our pictures from our phones is pretty remarkable.  Her Samsung pictures look like they were taken on a high-end DSLR while mine look good (because yeah, I take good pics!), but not quite as sharp and crisp.

So I was excited to check out the newest phones from Samsung. BlogHer Mobile Image

The Galaxy Note 7 is a phablet that has some pretty incredible features, like being water-resistant (YES! in up to 5 feet of water), a huge, scratch-proof screen (because I am a mom, after all) and an S pen so you can “write.”

Even cooler, it offers wireless charging and incredible sound.

Best Buy is offering some cool incentives in store only, like a wearable device when you get your Galaxy Note 7 or a gift card with the purchase of a Galaxy 7.

Speaking of phones, when you get a new one, you should check and see if there are better mobile plans available.  My phone bill has gone up almost $60 in the past year (for the SAME service, that’s another story AT&T).  They have a really helpful service in store at Best Buy now that lets you easily compare the best phone plans.  And then switch (or switch carriers, which I may do soon…!)

What do you think about the new Samsung Galaxy 7?
