I started my first company in 2011.  I just had my son, Grayson, and I lucked into the most incredible community of women who were pregnant at the exact same time as me.  We moved to Chicago three years earlier, and I joined the Junior League of Chicago as a way to meet people, make friends and give back.

Little did I know that I would end up with lifelong friends, and a built-in new mama support community.  In the fall of 2010, I was at a holiday committee meeting where most people were drinking.  I felt so awkward because I was pregnant.  And this is Chicago that we are talking about in cold weather, everyone is drinking.

Until that is, my son was two months old and my husband was offered a new position in Los Angeles where I was born and raised.  We knew eventually we wanted to move home to be close to family, but it all happened fast.  I was excited at avoiding winter with a baby, but so despondent over losing my mom community.

What was I going to do?  I decided to create my own!  Club MomMe was born out of my desire to connect women during pregnancy, motherhood and parenting in a fun, communal environment.  We hosted 4-6 monthly events, worked with hundreds of brands, launched new products, sold thousands of tickets, and forged countless connections.
