Summer Fun at Knotts Berry Farm: Ghost Town Alive!

This summer Knott’s Berry Farm comes to life with the action-packed Ghost Town Alive! complete with bandits, cowboys, robberies, judges, a good ol’ western hoedown, and much more!

Visit the historic Wild West town of Calico located in Knotts Berry Farm and experience an authentic western adventure that is fun for the whole family. Visit a schoolhouse dating back to the 1800’s, a barn with real horses, sheriff’s station and more.

Your family will become a star in a fun, adventurous story where you choose your own path through the town now through September 4th.

This summer, the story continues a year after the notorious Mayfield Gang escaped the custody of Sheriff Wheeler. Word around town is the Mayfield’s have been spotted back in Calico and the townspeople are in need of some help in capturing the bandits and keeping the town safe.

The Ghost Town Alive! experiences allows you to play an important part in this unfolding story of the wild west, with specific tasks and activities and an essential role as an honorary citizen of Calico.

The fun runs all summer through September 4th. After your Ghost Town Alive! Adventure, head to Camp Snoopy for fun rides designed just for little ones like a merry-go-round, giant spinning swings, flying airplanes and shows with the whole Peanuts crew.

Harper and Grayson love the candy store with many old-fashion selections and the bakery with fresh caramel apples. Knotts is also famous for their fried-chicken, so I highly recommend trying it for lunch along with some funnel cake. Sadly I can’t eat either (ugh gluten why do you have to be in everything?!) so please eat some for me!
