Harper and I got styling with Sunny Day‘s Style Files, and we’re gonna show you exactly how we did it!
It was surprisingly super easy, and is easily our new favorite hairstyle!
I invited over one of my besties Ravayna for this project, since she has the coolest hair out of anyone I know- besides Sunny Day of course!
You can watch Sunny Day weekdays on Nickelodeon!
Sunny is a hairstylist and salon-owning entrepreneur, in the brand-new Nick Jr. cartoon series, Sunny Day!
With the help of her best friends, Blair, Rox, and her adorable pup, Doodle, Sunny can untangle any problem that comes her way.
Harper totally loves this new show and can’t get enough of it.
Sunny does hair tutorials so you can achieve your own amazing hairstyles at home, just like she does.
She always uses her styling skills in creative ways to be a true leader and inspires individuality in every preschooler.
To achieve this adorable pink heart hairdo you’re going to need just a few things.
First you need to make two little pony tails using the top half of your hair, and then comes the fun part… the chalk!
This chalk just slides right over the hair and instantly adds a pop of temporary color, so cool! (The best part is that it’s mess free!)
Then you swirl the two ponies into a heart shape as shown in the photo. Clip them into place and voila! So easy, right?
After that you can add any other fun accessories you want, like how we added the pretty little clip-in braids.
We chose all our favorite colors. Pink, blue, and purple!
Isn’t it just the cutest thing ever?
While we were at it, we also gave ourselves temporary nail tattoos. It’s pretty much the easiest manicure ever.
Harper loved getting pampered and pretending we were at a real salon like the one Sunny Day owns and operates on the show.
Just like Sunny, I couldn’t have done this without the help of my friend. Thanks Ravayna!
We had so much fun smiling and styling with Sunny and can’t wait to see what hairstyles she comes up with next!
At the end we couldn’t help ourselves and added a green braid for some extra pizazz, as though it needed it! haha
