Back to School with Welch’s Fruit Snacks!

Summer just started but I can’t help myself, the mom in me is already thinking about back to school time. For some reason I’ve always loved shopping for school supplies, even as a kid. I get excited about the pretty lunch boxes and notebooks.

As a mom, I want my kids’ lunchtime to be special at school. I leave little notes in their lunch bags to make them smile, and I love coming up with cute little snacks to make it more fun for them.

Harper and Grayson love Welch’s Fruit Snacks, it’s their go-to snack choice. They’re obsessed with any treats that are tiny and fun to eat. They’re the perfect snack to send to school for lunch, because they come individually wrapped and are so easy to throw in. It’s a no-brainer. No effort, and they love it. Sounds good to me!

I carry them in my purse for on-the-go snacking when we’re out and about or running errands. They’re fast, easy, and delicious! The whole family can enjoy them, because trust me, you never grow out of yummy fruit snacks.

It seems silly that so many fruit snacks out there ignore fruit, but with Welch’s, fruit steals the whole show. After all, their fruit snacks are not only made with real fruit, but fruit is their first ingredient!

We all know about after-school snacks too. Sometimes lunch just isn’t enough for their busy day, and my kids come home super hungry looking for a yummy bite to eat.

They know they can’t have anything too big before dinner, so sometimes I make little trays of lots of different snacks for them to pick at.

I have an adorable mini recipe to elevate Welch’s Fruit Snacks that my kids totally love!

All you need is bread, a cookie cutter, and your fav flavor of Welch’s Fruit Snacks of course. We used Mixed Fruit and Island Fruits.

It’s so easy, you just cut out little pieces of bread with a cookie cutter, and put Welch’s Fruit Snacks on top. You can even double up like a sandwich, which makes it even more fun for the kids.

They can pretend it’s a slider from their favorite restaurant. It adds a lot of imagination and creativity to the usual snack time!

Putting a spin on ordinary snacks is a great way to get excited about going Back to School.

My kids love to enjoy the great taste of Welch’s Fruit Snacks, and I love how they put fruit first.

You can find Welch’s Fruit Snacks at your local grocery store. Check out their website here to taste the difference & learn more about their amazing snacks, all made with real fruit!
